His Elder - One Week Left!

Hi Reader!

We're in the final stretch! His Elder releases in just one week on December 19th, and I can hardly believe we're almost there. If you haven't pre-ordered yet, there's still time!

Thank you for your feedback

Last week, I asked for your thoughts on where to go next with my writing, and so many of you responded with incredibly thoughtful perspectives. Thank you. Your input means more than you know, and it's helped me clarify what I want to write next.

I'm currently working on rough outlines for two very different projects, and I'm excited about both of them for different reasons.

The first is a return to medical romance with opposites attract tensions and dynamics at play, similar to Emergency Contact with Noah and Liam minus the borderline supernatural connection. Two opposing neurosurgeons in a fast-paced hospital find themselves drawn closer together even as they both compete for the same general director position. Sparks and drama ensue. There's something about the high-stakes environment of hospitals, the intimacy of caring for patients, and the way vulnerability surfaces in that world that I've missed writing. For those of you who've been asking for more medical romance, this one's for you.

The second project is completely different and unlike anything I've written before. It follows an American soldier who served in Afghanistan and fell in love with a local interpreter assigned to his unit. Their relationship begins in stolen moments between missions, intense and desperate in a way only war can make love feel. The steamy scenes are charged with the knowledge that every touch could be their last, every night together a defiance of the danger surrounding them.

When the US withdraws and the Taliban takes over, he's forced to leave his lover behind. The separation is devastating, but he refuses to give up. Back home, he fights American bureaucracy, navigating the nightmare of immigration red tape, visa applications that go nowhere, and the crushing anti-immigration sentiment under the administration. Every closed door, every denied request, every delay feels like another wall between them.

Then, months into this endless battle, he receives a desperate email. His lover is in immediate danger, his life at risk for having worked with American forces, and time has run out. What was already an uphill fight becomes a race against the clock. It's a love story wrapped in political reality, and a testament to how far someone will go to save the person they love.

Both stories are pulling at me in different ways, and I'm still figuring out which one to dive into first though the latter project is drawing me in(if you couldn't already tell!). I'd love to hear which one resonates with you, or if you're equally curious about both.

One week to go

His Elder releases December 19th. Samuel and Eli's story has lived in my heart for what feels like an eternity now, and I'm both nervous and thrilled to finally share it with all of you. Thank you for being here, for pre-ordering, for reading, and for supporting the kind of stories that ask hard questions about love, faith, and freedom.

With love and gratitude,

C.G. Macington

Hi Reader! I have been DYING to share this news with you, and the day has finally arrived! Are you ready? Because I'm about to make all your Preston dreams come true. Introducing: CONFLICT OF INTEREST (Bedside Manner 2)! Remember how I told you Preston York stole my heart while I was writing Bedside Manner? Well, I wasn't kidding. I've been living and breathing his story from the moment I finished the very first chapter he appeared in Bedside Manner, and I'm thrilled to announce that I've...

Hi Reader! Can you believe it's almost here?! Bedside Manner releases THIS MONDAY, and I'm bursting with excitement (and maybe a few nervous butterflies). If you haven't snagged your pre-order yet, there's still time! Trust me, you don't want to miss watching the Ice King melt for his Trauma Cowboy. Here's what you're in for: Dr. Maxwell York runs his cardiothoracic department like a well-oiled machine—precise, sterile, and perfectly controlled. Dr. Jax O'Connell? He's pure, beautiful chaos....

Hi Reader! It has been a whirlwind week over here! I officially sent out the Advance Reader Copies (ARCs) for Bedside Manner, and I’ll admit, I always hold my breath a little bit when I hit "send" on a new story. But the first few reviews have already started trickling in, and I am honestly floored by the reaction to Dr. Maxwell York and Dr. Jax O'Connell. It looks like the "Ice King" and the "Trauma Cowboy" are already stealing hearts! Here is what early readers are saying: 5/5 "I truly...
